Time Abundance

time philosophy inspiration

Initially I had written:

There is plenty of time. One just needs to choose what to spend it on.

But no, there is finite time. And yes, one needs to choose what to spend it on.

The real challenge is the rushing, the feeling of not having enough time.

Instead the opportunity here is to become aware of that, relax into not having sufficient time to meet your expectations, accept it, and stop rushing. "But I have to rush" is not true when you examine it deeper.

Instead "I'm going to do xyz instead" i.e. "I'm not going to prioritise that" is a reasonable answer.

I find a lot of people are rushing everywhere. I often find myself joining in the rush and thankfully, increasingly, realising this is a choice and a deadend one at that. No to rushing. #Parkinson's-Law.
